So... yeah. Ryan/Summer ficlet. Takes place about 17 years after the 'Heavily Broken' ended, 13 years after Alone Again, Naturally, the Timestamp Meme Fic for the story, and it's helpful to at least reread that one, since several things from it are mentioned. HB ended very bittersweet in terms of R/S, with them broken up but with some hope for the future. AA,N was far more bitter, with revelations about Ryan being estranged from the Cohens, and Summer completely breaking his heart... and, yeah, Seth being dead of a drug overdose. This one, though, ends a lot more on the sweet spectrum.

A reminder before you click... Heavily Broken is the one where Ryan didn't call Sandy after getting kicked out by Dawn, and wound up spending six months as a hustler on the streets before being raped, at which point the Cohens got involved and took Ryan in, leading he and Summer to get involved. Near the end of the fic, Ryan was diagnosed HIV Positive, and he ended up breaking up with Summer. I know at least one person told me they couldn't take reading it (I'm spacing who now) because of Ryan's HIV status, so I wanted to make sure to warn that yes, Ryan is HIV Positive in this ficlet, but he is healthy and taking good care of himself at this point.

Okay, while the bulk of this is 4 years after the events of the most recent chapter of HB, there's a bit of background exposition for the in between first. It was neccesary to set things up so the rest will make sense... lol... As I said on the WAW one, this is just ONE POSSIBLE future for the story, it may go totally different as I write the actually story, but this is where I can currently see it in 4 years, and what began to flow out as I wrote. I started with the concept of Ryan's feelings about college and then it just kinda... exploded... I swear... lol

Friends And Other Strangers - The OC/OTH/GG crossover where 'Ryan Atwood and Jess Mariano are friends and roommates and Summer is coming to visit and Ryan meets Brooke and Taylor is stalking Ryan' story. ( Taylor needs to be bitch slapped... )


The 'Broken' Universe - The 'Oliver killed Sandy and Ryan has basically become traumatically mute but Brooke Davis is starting to bring him out of it' story. ( Who would have thought, Caleb's nice... )


It Only Hurts - The 'Ryan went into foster care, was abused in a group home, and is now having lots of sex with Julie' story. ( People gotta find out sometime... )


Defining Love - The 'Ryan and Alex totally hooked up for wild sex after Marissa died, and they have a baby girl together but Ryan has custody and Alex just visits and she's totally good with that arrangement' story. ( This is the scene mentioned in the original one shot about Lily getting her appendix out and Alex coming to wait with Ryan.... )


Missing Persons Sequel - The sequel to the 'Ryan and Brooke got kidnapped by psycho organ stealing doctors and the Criminal Minds team helped find them' story. ( This is just a snippet of one idea for part of the sequel... )


Lost Boys Universe - The Supernatural/The OC crossover where 'Cohens are all dead thanks to the demon, and Sam is dead, too, so Ryan and Dean are partnered up to hunt down the demon and other badness in the world.' story. ( Dean and Ryan would totally annoy eachother but in a friendly kinda way... )

Ahem... and that's just the ones that I had sudden inspiration to write a snippet of... all events are subject to change when/if I ever write more of the fic they're connected with, but... lol...
