So, I'm working on Never Again, actually I was working on the soundtrack, and I got a couple ideas... but since these ideas depend a lot on several factors I can't quite decide on because all the different options could totally rock in different ways, I thought I'd ask you guys for your opinions on them...

As a side note, sicne I keep writing fics with pregnancy and babies, I think I'll have to actually buy some books on the topic soon... at the UW bookstore they actually have a copy of the latest edition of the 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' book... it's a liuttle more expensive (like a couple bucks) more than I'd pay through amazon, but I'd have it in my hands immediately and I could pay in cash instead of wodneirng when it was gonna show up in my bank account... I'll decide by Monday afternoon, since that's the earleist I could get it from the UW Bookstore anyway... lol... I ALMOST bought it on Thursday when I saw it there... then changed my mind...

Notes: So... it's been... like 3 and a half months since I last updated... but I've been feeling this fic recently... lol... so more Ryan/Brooke goodness... I went back and edited an earlier chapter to fix a mistake about when Ryan and Brooke met (One chapter said 5 years ago, the other said 6 years ago), since this chapter dives into more Ryan/Brooke: The Early Years. For now, it's not spellchecked because the spellchecker in Hotmail only checks part of the entry and this was too long... lol... I did reread to try to catch any spelling mistakes/typos, but... I'm sure I missed some... will edit with a fixed version later today.

Unrelated to this fic, but related to a different one (Not sayign which one because I don't wanna spoil it)... would you guys be interested in a little interactivity? Like, the story is going to have a wedding, and I'm thinking I could post a couple polls with pictures of the possible wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, decorations, cakes, locales, and you guys could vote on which I should pick. And whatever gets the most votes wins and wil be what I describe as I write. The only thing that might vary is like if the winning dress has a colored sash and the winning decorations are in a different color (especially a clashing color) I'd describe the decorations as being a co-ordinating color.

Anyway, anyone interested in that?

Notes: I like this one... it explores Ryan's relationships with the other people in his life, his boss and coworkers, a bit. Paulie has appeared previously in my one-shot 'Goen So Long', where he owned the pub Alex worked at and got Ryan a job at. I think the actor that most closely resembles my mental image of Paulie is Joe Mantegna (Will Girardi on Joan Of Arcadia, David Rossi on Criminal Minds). He's not an exact match, but if I had to have an actor playing Paulie, JM would be more than acceptable to me... lol...

I've written 3 different scenes... well... technically more like 6 scenes, but they are pairs of scenes...

See, I plan on having a LOT of flashbacks in this story, slowly pieceing together Ryan's life between Sandy becoming a drunk and the present... I kinda want the flashbacks to be in order, but on the other hand I don't think it would be such a big deal to have them out of order... I mean, most of the time it'll be really easy to line up when the flashback is... Or maybe I'll make a post that is a timeline, and every time I have a new flashback, I'll put it in the timeline of when it is, slowly filling in the blanks... that way if there's confusion about when the flashback takes place in comparison to other flashbacks, people can go look at the timeline and find out... lol... Or I could use some of my mostly empty webspace to post the flashbacks in seperate things with an index of them so people can read the flashbacks only in chronilogical order... I may do that when I finish the story, anyway... as like an extra bonus...

I think 'Never Again' might have a relatively large cast of original characters... mostly Ryan's coworkers... So far there's 5 originals in the snippets I have... Paulie, Beth, Sarah, John, and Jessie... I need to cast them all, but... I love Paulie (same character is in 'Gone So Long' as Ryan and Alex' boss at the pub) and Jessie (who is the same character as Jessie in WAW)... Beth, Sarah, and John also rock so far... lol... None of them are leads, but they do have their roles and I want to give them faces... lol...
