I think I did a similar one a while back (though I can't seem to find it now...), but this one has different questions... This can be any ship, even crossover ships, from fandoms that I've written/talked about.

I didn't even full intend to start an entire little slash universe with my Ryan/Jess snippet, it was this little kinda experimental piece to see if I could make them believable as a couple but still keep in character. And now... now I know Ryan is Jess' date to Luke and Lorelai's wedding, and Jess is suitably horrified the first time he meets Che, and they'll adopt some troubled kids and have a ahrd time with them, but they'll make the family work... so much for a little one-shot!




Onto other, vaguely related stuff... I've been reaidng soem Dark Angel fics tonight and... I suddenly got this idea to write an AU that has Ryan as about the same age as the X5's at the time DA took place, and it's Ryan/Alec slash... and really I shouldn't do it, but omfg that hotness... and Ryan not giving a shit that Alec is an X5, Alec liking at Ryan's tough enough to handle the X5 stamina... and omfg I'm gonna end up doing it, I know I am... lol...

I was tagged by jazzyjackrabbit to do this, so I am... lol... but I won't tag people... lol

1. One of my family's favorite jokes about me is that if you value your life, you won't come between me and fried chicken... lol that's the one way that I am such a southern girl still, I LOVE fried chicken...

2. I have chemical and pollen allergies, but no food allergies (that I know of...) chemicals make my skin bright red and irritated, cottonwood fluff makes me get really tired and have trouble breathing, and allergy pills actually kinda make it worse... lol

3. When I was about 7 or so, my school bus was nearly hijacked and we were basically held hostage for a while until the cops took the crazy woman away. I've made a more detailed post about this before if you look around...

4. My first ever fandom that I obsessed over was 'SeaQuest', and I still occasionally feel the urge to write SeaQuest fanfic... Lucas Wolenczak (played by the late Jonathan Brandis) was my first TV crush.

5. My older brothers, Owen and Seth, are twins and 8 years older than me. They are technically my half brothers (we have the same mom, different fathers), but I pretty much NEVER refer to them that way. They are just plain my brothers and I love them so damn much. Also? Their father, Dean, was of East Indian decent and my brothers look it, but we all have the same eyes from mom's side.

6. After my dog Meja died, I couldn't even look at Bananas without wanting to cry for a couple weks. Meja LOVED Bananas, they were her favorite treat, and looking at them made me think of her. Now I can eat them and have banana flavored stuff again and only feel a little sad.

7. When I was 11 (the summer my family spent in Florida taking care of my dying grandpa), I made friends with a neighbor, Jackie, and we made this really silly audio tape with skits and fake interviews and stuff... I still have the tape somewhere, I'm just not sure where at the moment... The following little skits were on the tape (As best I remember):
Q-47: Where Are You? was this insane little thing where I played a truly stupid guy who accidentally piloted a plane and crashed on an island with cannibal head hunters but managed to survive somehow... I think he survived anyway... either way, it was HILARIOUS! Jackie played the poor guy stuck trying to make sense of Q-47's babbling...
News Cast had a variety of 'news' stories ranging from an interview with the band 'Poisonous Fuzzy Navels', to something about 'Copenhagen Snuff', and a third story about 'Killer Fruit Flies' or something... lol
If I ever find the tape, I'll listen and transcribe the skits for ya'll to read. it was a LOT of fun to make and so damn stupid/funny...

Would anyone like to see a 'DVD Commentary' on any of my fics? Basically, that means I'll go back through the story and make a new post with the story interspersed with my thoughts behind the story and how I feel about certain things looking back on it.

You can pick any of my stories (or even more than one...) even if it's long or unfinished. This includes any story posted on my journal, although if it's friends only (like my '24 Gifts' stories) the commentary will be friends only until/if I decide to make the original story public.

If it's a long one, I won't be commenting on the whole thing, just the first chapter and maybe a few select scenes from other sections of the story, because it would be ridiculous to do it on like all 57 chapters of HB... lol... if you pick a long one and there's something specific that happens past the first chapter and you want to know behind the scenes stuff, tell me in the comment and I'll be sure to get to it.

I kinda can't wait to do this... lol

And I AM working on tonight's gift, but... I kinda ran out of the stuff I had written so I'm trying to write something happy... yeah, not going the greatest... lol...

Okay, while the bulk of this is 4 years after the events of the most recent chapter of HB, there's a bit of background exposition for the in between first. It was neccesary to set things up so the rest will make sense... lol... As I said on the WAW one, this is just ONE POSSIBLE future for the story, it may go totally different as I write the actually story, but this is where I can currently see it in 4 years, and what began to flow out as I wrote. I started with the concept of Ryan's feelings about college and then it just kinda... exploded... I swear... lol

The 'Broken' Universe - The 'Oliver killed Sandy and Ryan has basically become traumatically mute but Brooke Davis is starting to bring him out of it' story. ( Who would have thought, Caleb's nice... )


It Only Hurts - The 'Ryan went into foster care, was abused in a group home, and is now having lots of sex with Julie' story. ( People gotta find out sometime... )


Defining Love - The 'Ryan and Alex totally hooked up for wild sex after Marissa died, and they have a baby girl together but Ryan has custody and Alex just visits and she's totally good with that arrangement' story. ( This is the scene mentioned in the original one shot about Lily getting her appendix out and Alex coming to wait with Ryan.... )


Missing Persons Sequel - The sequel to the 'Ryan and Brooke got kidnapped by psycho organ stealing doctors and the Criminal Minds team helped find them' story. ( This is just a snippet of one idea for part of the sequel... )


Lost Boys Universe - The Supernatural/The OC crossover where 'Cohens are all dead thanks to the demon, and Sam is dead, too, so Ryan and Dean are partnered up to hunt down the demon and other badness in the world.' story. ( Dean and Ryan would totally annoy eachother but in a friendly kinda way... )

Ahem... and that's just the ones that I had sudden inspiration to write a snippet of... all events are subject to change when/if I ever write more of the fic they're connected with, but... lol...
