The Return of Lucky Spencer (AR Series - Part Two)
I am stuck at the student union until 5 (Though I may go over to the University library for a bit... haven't decided yet...) because that's when my mom gets off work and with a temperature of 12, a windchill of -6 and possible snow, I figure I don't wanna walk home...
So, I'm stuck... and all day I've had General Hospital on the brain... lol...
It helped that I've been listening to music on my MP3 player all day, and it's music I put on there last night and selected because it's stuff that might inspire fic... lol...
Anyway, I actually got Part Two of my GH vid series done last night, but not saved (It's saved as a project, but not as a vid...) I'm thinking I may change the song on it... right now I'm using 'Running Up That Hill' by Placebo, and it works, but earlier one fo the songs on my MP3 player seemed even more perfect...
I might actually write the story in fic format as well at some point... because while the vids are quicker and funner in a way (You can cover a lot of material in a 4 or 5 minute vid that would take 2 or three chapters of a fic), I can't really be as detailed as I'd like. How, in a vid, am I suppose to convey Lucky's regrets from the past 8 years without making the summary be impossibly long? lol...
And there's certain scenes that I don't think I COULD vid properly... They'll be somewhat vague in the vid because the stuff never happened on the show so I gotta get as close as possible... I can't show Lulu running to Lucky and throwing her arms around his neck when she first sees him alive, while he holds her close looking sad, because scenes like that don't exist...
So, people will probably end up with both vids telling the story and a far more detailed fic version... lol... hell, the fic version may split off from the vid version at some point... maybe at the end of each chapter of the fic version, I'll include a link to the vid version of that chapter/chapters, and at the end of the vid version a link to the fic version of that vid...
But, the whole point is, I am in love with this new GH verse of mine... for people who prefer my The OC fics, don't worry, I actually have a few The OC ideas, too, so there'll be something new soon, like tonight or tomorrow probbably.
I'm just bored right now... still got like 3 hours to kill before I can go home... ::sigh::

Once I get home tonight (I'm catching a ride home with my mom, so I won't be getting home until a little after 5 at the earliest) I'll edit this post to get the banner I made up top, and I'll switch out my icons to a matching Lucky Icon... lol... I should have done it last night, but I didn't even decide to post until now.
If any non-GH fans who read because the like my The OC stuff and they want a brief little primer on the characters and history, just let me know... I may post one anyway if I get bored enough before or after work... lol

PS: People are morons... the light is on for the computer hard drive on the next one over, but the MONITOR IS TURNED OFF! There's a big sign that says 'turn off your screen to save power', and no one can seem to figure out that you need to TURN ON THE MONITOR and that's why it won't work! Idiots...
They keep getting annoyed/frustrated before I get the chance to tell them, and it's way to early to deal with telling people in that kind of mood what to do, because they might snap at me instead of seeing it as me being helpful... lol

The Icon (Of Antonio Sabato Jr. as Alonzo Solace on Earth 2) is because right now? I am VERY bruised... yesterday I slipped in the washrom and slammed my knee into the controls for the dishwasher, and I've got other bruises on my other knee that5 I can't figure out the cause of (But I'm a clutz so... I probably banged that knee too... lol) plus I've got burns from grease dripping on my arm from the grill and accidentally touching the hood of the cry warmer while trying to fill/clean the custard machine... ::sigh::
Anyway, the news SOME will like... lol... I'm currently working on TWO General Hospital fics, both LL2. One is with Greg Vaughn as my picture Lucky (It takes place around now, but in an AU where Luke took over the PC Mob from Frank Smith...) the other with Jonathan Jackson as my pictured Lucky (It's an AU of the bike shop fire where Elizabeth was there and 'died', but comes back 6 months later...
I'm also trying to brainstorm on what my next step in TTTB ('The Ties That Bind' to those who haven't read it) which is my Lucky/Emily fic where Lucky's turned out to be a Cassadine, Carly's his half sister, Lucky's joined the WSB, married Emily who he has twins with, and, oh yeah, like 50 people keeping hanging out at the Penthouses during sieges and Alan hates Lucky but Edward likes him... lol... it's a crazy long fic, but... I still love it after like 5 years and over 100 chapters... lol...

Aug. 26th, 2007 07:11 pmlol... took me damn near forever to get off my ass and do it, but... lol... earlier I uploaded the index page for an archive of my Lucky Spencer (General Hospital) fanfics. So far none of the other pages for the site are up (I'm working on the Lucky/Emily page tonight, so I can get all of my epic long Luckily fic, The Ties That Bind, uploaded), but the main page is... AND I figured out that I can do image maps using the html editor I have! WooHoo!

I'll do a little report on my Christmas and what I got sometime over the next few days... if nothing else than after my brother and sister-in-law come up for New Years and I get my presents from them... lol
I may, for the readers of my The OC fics, post a The OC Chrismukkah fic later... I'm thinking either a bonus scene for Heavily Broken, showing Ryan's Christmas shortly before moving to Newport (In other words, alone, in a rat and roach infested apartment...) or just something fun and fluffy and stand alone...
