Notes: So, quite a while back, I made a post about this idea where Ryan replaces Julian in the current OTH storylines, and I wrote two little snippets to accompany it. (You can find that original post here.) This is an expansion on that universe, revealing at leats one possible way that the univers ebegan with Ryan arriving in Tree Hill. Title comes from the song by Jennifer Day, which I absolutely adore. I plan on making art for this story later... first I must lay down for a bit because ahving to work? Is not helping me get well quickly! lol

The first few sections are mainly to set things up. Assume everything not shown happened the same as on the show. HERE is the link to a clip of the Brooke/Bad Guy showdown. Assume it went down just like that, except Ryan instead of Julian walked in at the end.... this actually makes me think I should do a Brooke Video Primer, like I did for NipTuck/Christian Troy and for Brothers & Sisters... because there is much awesomeness and depth to Brooke... lol

Notes: A three-way crossover! lol... Hopefully it works out the way I want it to... Takes place 3rd Season The OC, 2nd season OTH, and 2nd season Criminal Minds. I'm slightly screwing with the timelines, but... whatever.
Little Timeline notes:
Criminal Minds - Takes place sometime in Season 2, so Prentiss is on the team instead of Elle.
The OC - Johnny's still alive. Ryan and Marissa are still together but it's shaky.
OTH - Brooke and Lucas have gotten to be friends again, but they're NOT back together.
