missmara13I'm like... totally stunned... I made a request on a music community for any 40's music (to use as inspiration for my World War II AU) people had, expecting to maybe get one or two songs, but it turns out it wasn't such an obscure request because people have provided a LOT of stuff! Some of it's from a bit later (50's and 60's) but a LOT is from 1945 and earlier, which is perfect... I've been researching and putting the year of the song into the file name so that I can make sure I don't specifically mention a song that wouldn't have been in existance yet... lol...
I'm planning on making at least one, maybe 2 soundtracks for the fic... Like I'm thinking a 2 disc set, with seperate covers for each disc... Disc 1 will be World War II era songs (some of them covered by more recent artists, but... lol...) with art of real life pictures/propaganda posters/etc on the cover... Disc 2 will be more modern songs that fit the feel of the story...
Anyway... I'm totally in love with this fic idea... lol... World War II Ryan/Summer rocks! lol
