The 3rd Gift this year is from my Mercy!Verse, which is the one where after a horrific year in Juvie, Ryan ended up being adopted by Officer John Cooper (from Southland), and it has crossed over with other crime related fandoms, such as Ryan having been on the CSI:NY team, and now being on the NCIS:New Orleans team.

I'll admit, I did NOT like or trust Tammy Gregorio when she first appeared on NCIS:NO, but since then I have come to love her. Her friendship with Sebastion is so cute! And considering the obvious Brooklyn accent, it's gotta be assumed that Gregorio is originally from/spent a good deal of time in New York.I'm going with both: she was born and raised in Brooklyn, then assigned there with the FBI for several years.

This would take place a little while after the previous one in this verse with Gregorio (Ryan challenged her to profile him, and Sarah got mentioned and Ryan had a bit of a mini breakdown). Ryan has returned from his leave of absence to deal with his grief, and is settling back in.

So, my Mercy!Verse is an AU where Ryan ended up in Juvie (when really he shouldn't have been), and he suffered severe sexual abuse there. He eventually got out with the help of his arresting officer, John Cooper (from Southland) who wound up adopting him. Cooper lived in the school district for West Beverley Hills High (90210), so those are Ryan's high school classmates, and he became best friends with Silver. This shows some key moments of their friendship.

Mercy!Verse plays with timelines quite a bit. Ryan went to Juvie at 14 and got out at 15, which was just before the 1st season of 90210 started. So if you watched 90210, just imagine Ryan was there the whole time, making friends with Silver and truly appreciating her for her how awesome she really is.

Mercy!Verse. Remember how last years snippets revealed that Ryan went to West Beverly Hills High School and knew the 90210 gang? Well, this expands on his friendship with Erin Silver. It takes place towards the end of Season 3 of 90210, just after the incident where Adrianna switched out Silver's bipolar meds and causing Silver to behave eratically. In my AU, Ryan never bought into the idea of Silver having stopped taking her meds, and he figured out what Adrianna did and busted her.

Warning: Ryan talks to Silver about being repeatedly raped in juvie by the warden. Not graphic, but... still disturbing.
