I wanna do a Multiverse fic that has the story of Lost. Not the exact storyline, but the premise of the survivors of a plane crash on a mysterious island where strange things keep happening.

Right now I'm thinking I'd use:
The OC: Ryan, Alex, Volchak (every group needs a villian!)
One Tree Hill: Brooke, Nathan, Haley, Jamie, Lucas
SGA: Sheppard
Supernatural: Dean
Gilmore Girls: Lorelai
Heroes: Peter

And maybe other people from other fandoms...

Actually, what I'd kinda like to do if anyone is interested, is make it an 'Open Universe', meaning that while I'll write an initial story, it'll be totally gen, no pairings, and anyone else can run with it from there, creating their own story from the basics, with whatever pairing they want, only using the fandoms they want, and even adding new fandoms and characters if they want.

Any story written into the universe could be considered 'Open' as well, meaning anyone else could pick up from the other stories and write their own take on it, as long as they provided credit to the person who started that train of story (and preferably linked to the index of all the Multiverse stories on my journal).

It could be open to Gen, Het, and Slash stories, you can kill someone if you want, or have someone who's dead show up in a flashback. Or if you're picking up someone else's train of story and they killed someone you want alive, you could always play time games and have them mysteriously turn up alive. As much or as little of the canon of the source shows could be used as you wanted (So Dean can be a demon hunter or maybe he's a cop. Sheppard can be on vacation from Atlantis or his an ex-military surfing champ. Peter can mimic superpowers or he can be a normal nurse).

No worries about knowing the secrets of The Island on Lost, because the stories could go from completely normal non-mysterious plane crash stories to even mroe insane than the show has, and the show's canon of the truth of the Island doesn't have to match up even remotely to what's happening on our isane island...

Would anyone be interested in this idea? I may write it anyway, and still keep it out there, but... I'd love to have others join in. Details of mroe specific 'rules', if any, could be worked out later...
