A few years ago my mom had a mammogrma which revealed a lump in her right breast. It turned out to be a Calcification, completely harmless.
Now, there's something significant enough happening that just days after her mammo they called her back for more tests. These could mena one of two things:
Either the doctors are IDIOTS and forgot to look at the older films, DESPITE my mom making a BIG deal out of the calcification, so they think it's new.
OR It's changed significantly and they're worried it's a tumor.
I don't know if I could handle it if it's cancer. I hardly know my dad, so basically my mom is the only parent I have. I was so scared in late winter of 2002 when she had surgery to deal with a prolapsed uterus, Cancer is about a million tiems worse. I don't know if I can deal with this.
When she told me I kept pretty calm, jsut gripped the arm of my chair extra hard. When she told my brothe rlater that night I walke dout fo the room, went to the bathroom, and just cried and let out these almsot silent screams for a few minutes before returning.
I refuse to cry in front of her, she doens't need the stress of knowing how scared I am.
Anybody who believes in God, or the power of positive thought, or pray, PLEASE keep us in your thoughts and/or Prayers.
