missmara13Just when I think I'm 100& decided on NaNo...
The news of an Earth-sized planet round Alpha Centauri B breaks and suddenly I'm getting visions of scifi story in my head... a 'first extrasolar colony' story where things go wrong... and help at least 16 years away (since the fastest they can go is about a third the speed of light, meaning 12 years of travel... plus 4.2 or so years for the message of 'Help!' to reach Earth, plus however long it takes to get together a mission to help, and that's IF help is even sent because it's a long way to go if everyone's died in a catastrophe...)
