Orange Hill Summary:
A year ago, Ryan tried to kill himself and was sent away to deal with his problems. Now he's unexpectedly return to his home town, and everyone is concerned for different reasons. His sister and his best friend, Naomi and Chuck, are worried that he's not ready to deal with the whispers and rumors that have been flying since he left, while Blair, Lucas, and Serena are worried that their roles in what happened while come out. Caught between her worry for Ryan and her guilt for her part in everything is Ryan's ex-girlfriend, Brooke, who still can't shake her feelings for him.
The first season focuses on the fact that Ryan's suicide attempt really came out of left field for all of them, including Ryan himself. He has no idea why he did it, doesn't even remember doing it, and when you add int he fact that he'd been having blank spots in his memory for weeks leading up to that fateful night, Ryan and his friends begin to suspect that something else may have been going on.
