missmara13It's been a couple of days sicne I posted, so here I am with some random junk.
First MERRY CHRISTMAS to all who celebrate! And if not... happy holidays, or if you don't celebrate any holidays, Have a great day! lol
Had Christmas Dinner earlier. We always have it on Christmas Eve so on Christmas Day we can just totally relax. It was good. Ham and some random side dishes. I'll be eating ham for days with all the left overs... lol
Usuyally we open 1 present Christmas Eve, but because money is tight and there's fewer presents this year (The new computer which keeps giving us a hard time being the reason for that... blah) we're not opening one tonight. But I'm still gonna stay up until at least 12:30 and open my stocking since we have another tradition, as soon as it's technically Christmas Day in our time zone, I'm allowed to open my stocking... lol And I have a GIANT stocking, like twice as big as the usual ones. I could fit both feet in it (Though I have never tried, I'm not THAT weird! lol).
Rented 'Scary movie ' (The first one) and 'Hollywood Homicide today. Gonna watch HH tomorrow with mom and Bro, but Owen and I watched SM a little while ago. HILARIOUS. It's like totally stupid funny... but you have to know your movies to catch all the references. I probably missed a bunch but the Scream Series and I Know What You Did Last Summer, and The Blair With Project ones are obvious, Exorcist is specifically mentioned, and the end is totally 'The Usual Suspects', though I've never seen it, but I've heard about the scene.
I got a new webseries idea, not sure what I'll call it yet, but it's vaguely in the 90210 vibe. A group of teenagers in High School dealing with life and the sometimes way too dramatic events in it... lol I might not dot he series since I allready have 2 rtegular webseries, 1 fanfic series, and about a half dozen regular fanfics I write... lol if I can find a staff to help me write, I'll probably do it...

Chris/Lena - A kinda Romeo & Juliet type relationship. Chris' family is lower class, Lena's is upper class. Chris works at an car shop after school and weekends, Lena's never worked a day of her life. They're two people you'd think would never be together, but they are.
On the family front for them, Lena's parents are distant, both emotionally and physically. They are always out of town, suppossedly on business but since her mom doesn't work, that's unlikely, so usually only Lena and her brother Eric are home. Chris has a close family, but his parents will only be around for 1 episode.
Tony/Kate/Rick - Kate is Chris' older sister, who moved away from town after she graduated high school. She'll return sometime after the premiere to be there for her brother. She'll have to make a choice between her college boyfriend, Rick, who's money could help her out a lot with the bills, or her first love Tony, who she knows she can always count on.
Kate isn't the most responsible person int he world, but she loves her little brother.
Jason/Dru - Dru is Chris' best friend, and Jason is her boyfriend. Jason has an alchohol problem, and unfortunately has alot of friends with drug problems, which causes problems since Dru's father is a police officer. But, oddly enough, they are probably the msot stable couple in the series, since everyoen knows about them, and they don't keep secrets from eachother.
But, since Dru is African-American and Jason is white, they will most likely have at least one storyline dealing with the race issue of someone (Or someones) having trouble with them being together. Maybe Jason's family doesn't approve of 'race mixing'.
Melody/Eric/Carmen - Melody's the sweet good girl, Carmen's the tough latina chick, Eric is Lena's stuck up brother who is leading both girls on. He's gonna be screwed when they find out.
There's some other characters, but those are the main people and main relationships.
The setting is a fairly small Southern California town, which gives a lot of storyline possibilities in my mind. Earthquakes, surfing, fun in the sun and midnight swims that lead to sex on the beach... lol

Okay, that's it... nothing else to talk about at the moment... tomorrow or Friday I'll post about Christmas Presents. Sounded like my friends who've made gift lists in their LJs got lots of good stuff. hopefully I'll get good stuff too, though I only have like 5 or 6 gifts under the tree because of money being tight... but like I said, HUGE ass stocking full of stuff. Lots of nice little stuff in there I'll bet! lol And over the course of this coming year, I'll be getting little bits of stuff for my room theme (Tropical/exotic if you didn't read my post about it), and I got a couple of 'new' shirts (Actually second hand, but one of them STILL HAD THE PRICE TAG on it! OMG! lol) earlier this month, so it's all good.
