missmara13So... last week, I bought seasons 1 and 2 of Eureka on DVD! I'm watching the pilot ep right now and omfg it's making me wanna work on Eureka!Ryan taking place during Ryan and Zoe's teen years... lol I need to figure out exact timeline placement for Ryan's arrival in Eureka, but with the 1st season at my fingertips, I can do that no problem... lol
I'm guessing that most likely, Eureka!Ryan begins shortly after 'Right As Raynes'... definitely before 'Purple Haze', because I want Ryan to be there when the inhibitions drop and things get crazy... I want him to lose his filter and tell someone that he's tired of being wanted around for what he can do and not for who he is. Tell someone that he wishes someone would want him around because they liked HIM, not for how he makes sure bills get paid and helps find veins (like Dawn did) or how he defends the weak and annoying (like Seth) or because he's an UberGenuis... Zoe was the first person to not give a crap about that stuff and just wanna hang out without wanting anything in return...
And... Ryan in the Future portrayed in 'Once In A Lifetime', where he's been adopted by Jack and Allison, and of course the first few eps after that, in Season 2 when Jack remembers the future and he behaves differently towards Ryan because he knows that Ryan becomes his son in the future and he wants to try and get Ryan to trust him sooner than he did originally because he wants Ryan to feel safe and loved...
Oh! And what dreams would Ryan have been having in 'Noche de Suenos'? What would people have seen? And the ep where everyone started getting dumb because of the organic chickens reducing gaba in their brains, especially since that was also Zane Donovan's first ep and omfg the 'criminal trifecta' of Zane, Ryan, and Zoe? lol... In my head, Ryan and Zane are good friends in Genuis!Ryan universe... like Zane ended up kind of filling the big brother role for Ryan, but without the jackass-ness of some of Trey's actions...
