Help!

I've basically gotten my two crossbigbang options narrowed to 2.

Option #1:
Picks up in the aftermath of 'The Big One' striking Southern California. Ryan Atwood, Dean Winchester, and Faith Lehane are in the same refugee camp following a lot of the state falling into the ocean, and they team up to watch eachothers' backs and help protect the medical tent and the supply tent from being robbed after fruther disasters force the Military to pull out of the camp and leave the people on their own.

Option #2:
Ryan is in LA following Marissa's death, and he's gotten into the old family profession of hunting things that go bump in the night. When he discovers something going on that's too big for him to handle, he calls a fell Hunter Kid, Faith Lehane, who he knows also happens to be a slayer. The recent activity has also drawn the attention of Dean Winchester, who is hunting solo after Sam decided to wander off to the Dark Side with Ruby. Soon, the three find themselves up to their ears in trouble that may be too much for them.
