Anyone remember 4 Girls Who Could be Ryan Atwood's Soulmate that I posted a while back? Joan Girardi, Rose Tyler, Claudia Kishi, and Blair Waldorf? Well, lately I've kinda been wanting to write about Ryan and Claudia's first date, babysitting for Sophie Rose... and it's so tempting to AU The OC a bit by having Marissa alive and when Marissa and Claudie meet, Marissa is all bitchy about Claudia's fashion style, and Claudia responds with some cutting remarks about Marissa's fashion choices and Marissa is all outraged...

And I want Ryan to go to Stoneybrook and meet the rest of the former BSC...

And... and... yeah.

That is all, i must get back to work...

lol... I don't know why exactly but... the idea of them intrigues me... and the idea of Claudia completely tearing M a new one makes me grin like a loon...

I've got this scene in my head where Ryan is going to meet Claudia's family and he's relieved when she tells him her family doesn't if she or her sister date non-Japanese or Japanese/American boys, as long as the guys they date treat them well... and that she thinks her parents will LOVE Ryan because he's gotten her to improve her study habits more...

And the Cohens of course love Claudia simply because she makes Ryan happy, btu she passes the Sophie Rose test quickly by gettingt the toddler to like her and ask when she can come back (Because Soph had thrown up on Ryan's last three 'girlfriends' the first time she met them, and everyone thinks it was delibrately, even though she's only 2 years old and shouldn't be able to be so judgemental, but... lol)... and I could ahve a scene with Ryan and Claud comparing grandmothers... the extremes of Claudia's sweetie grandma Mimi, and the oh so formidable The Nana... but they both lvoed their grandmothers so much and miss them now that they're gone... and Ryan lieks hearing about some of the crazy stuff that happened when Claudia was younger and babysat, like the Phantom Phone Caller, and the time the guy was stalking the BSC, and the time Claudia broke her leg because a kid she was sitting for pulled a prank...

Do you think I still love the BSC books, even after all these years? I need to pull out the box that has all my copies and reread some of them... lol
