Gossip Girl - Chuck/Vanessa - A Study In Contrasts
When I first watched Gossip Girl, I shipped Chuck/Blair all the way, with them as my favorites. Then something happened... Chuck began a flirtation with Vanessa, they teamed up to try to save an old bar, and damn it... they had chemistry! I found myself liking them more, especially once my love for Blair began to fade (although I love Leighton Meester because even in my current dislike of Queen B, Leighton still makes me feel sorry for, and in some cases even root for, Blair). Chuck has 'corrupted' Vanessa, turned her into something of a schemer who will get revenge, but I think in turn she has brought out the best in him. I can see her pushing him to be a better person, maybe even making a deal with him that he can be an ass most of the time, but he has to do one good, selfless, deed a year. And he agrees because he loves her, but also because, deep down, he IS a good guy.



Gossip Girl/The OC - Blair and Ryan - Now It's Your Turn
The basic premise? Ryan and Blair were a couple, but he caught her cheating and dumped her. Now she finds him with some other girl. She has no right to be upset, she blew it with him already, but she's hurt and angry. I kinda want to make it fit in with the universe where Blair goaded Ryan into attempting suicide and it led to everyone turning against her. Maybe she did it because Ryan broke up with her and she wanted him to hurt the way she was. It would explain her devastation to learn what he did, and why she was so desperate to get Chuck to tell her if Ryan would be okay. I see the banner taking place after Ryan has mostly recovered, he's trying to get past the pain, live his life, and be happy, but Blair doesn't want to let go. She wants him back. But he's not falling for her good girl act again. And his new girlfriend is more than willing to kick Blair's ass in revenge for the way the bitch treated him.



Gilmore Girls - Rory/Tristan - You Always Belonged To Me
Request from brucasnaleyfan1. Don't have much to say about it, since not really much creative work on my part. I did do a neat little trick of copying the wallpaper on the Alexis Bledel section over and over again and then blending it into the Chad Michael Murray section, then very carefully editting out where it overlapped his face so he didn't look all weird... lol... I would say it's probably Rory and Tristan ending up together sometime post-series, when they've both grown and changed and found their places in the world. Rory isn't perfect little 'Mary' anymore, and Tristan has figured out that being the 'bad boy' tends to mean not really getting the girl in the end.




One Tree Hill/Brothers & Sisters - Haley/Justin - When The Sea Is Rough...
Request from brucasnaleyfan1. Center is manip that was Nathan/Haley. Background is suppose to be them having a moment at some point. Like... Haley has just finished a long winded kinda rant about something and she realizes she sounds ridiculous and stops and he's just kinda listening and smiling because he loves her. I found the 'when the sea is rough' quote on wikiquote, and it was attributed to unknown, but I liked it. Edit: Fixed the text problem. The link for the full size version goes to the corrected version, but I'm too lazy to make a new thumbnail right now.



Brothers & Sisters - Justin/Rebecca - Mexico
Another request from brucasnaleyfan1! I went with simplicity here, just them and their names... pertially because these are the images I fell in love with and while I know the scene itself wasn't all that perfectly happy, I thought this blend of images LOOKS happy... lol... Don't really know what else there is to say...



One Tree Hill/The OC - Brooke/Ryan - Beach Glass (Requested)
The final request from brucasnaleyfan1. You guys know my great love of Ryan/Brooke, they are pretty much my crossover OTP (Although Ryan/Jess Mariano is a close second... lol), so it wasn't had to get in the mood to make this one. I wanted the colors to kinda reflect the text... so the blue is the ocean, the kinda light tan of the large faces is the sand. I have this vague idea that the story behind it is that Ryan and Brooke are together and in love, but there's complications making things harder and they are questioning themselves and their relationship. Then they happen to see some dug up beach glass being sold, and one of them (probably Ryan because as much as I love Brooke, a philosopher she ain't) uses it as an analogy to them: If they can just stick with it and keep digging through the bad stuff, they'll have something really beautiful in the end.


I'll work on the other requests tomorrow and post them ASAP.

Fixed Version

I couldn't manage to figure out how I did the smaller letters the first time, so they look a bit different (black with a glow-y halo around them instead of kinda yellow-ish and very slightly glow-y... but it makes the text easier to read, anyway, so... yeah... hopefully it's okay...
