OH MY GOD!

missmara13We were starting to run a little low on food, and because of it being the holiday season and the end of the month to boot, money is a little tight, but I swear, we just got a small miracle!
Mom was selected to get a 'Thanksgiving Basket'. We were expecting a turkey and maybe a box of non-perishables. Instead we got a turkey (13 pounds, bigger than the ones we found at the store), and SIX boxes of food, including one BIG box! PLUS 60 dollars cash!
We don't have to worry about spending money on food we NEED, instead we can spend a little mroe on extras and treats! There was even a can of 'Fancy Feast' Cat food! Tomorrow we're gonna splurge and get saome of the fancy dog food for our peke so she doesn't feel left out.
But I swear, it feels like a little miracle or something. In Texas, the one time we got soemthing like this it was ONE box of food, but... I can't believe this.
Plus, mom found a 20 she'd put in a seperate pocket of her purse to keep it safe, and she had forgotten about it. But today she found it.
Oh, and the Printer/Scanner for our new computer arrived today, we're expecting the rest of the comptuer by Thanksgiving or the weekend after. So SOON!
There was so much food we're giving about 1/4 to 1/3 of it away! Some of it to a co-worker of mom's who's a little tight on money, and some to the Soup Kitchen at St. Matthew's Cathedral.
I'm in such an unbelievably good mood.
