At the beginning of September, I started getting my old Webseries, Heaven Falls back online and I've been working on new episodes this whole month, with the 1st of the new run set to be put up on October 1st.
The series follows the world of a small town in central Wyoming, the titular Heaven Falls, and specifically the life of Jamie Bowen, the much loved favorite son of the town. It's drama, angst, and kinda soap-y with twists and turns.
I'll admit some of the stuff in the first 55 episodes was gimmicky and cliche, and the writing is... a little lacking, I think. But I started the series 6 years ago, and I've grown a lot as a written since then.
Don't let the 55 Episodes thing turn you off, most of them are pretty short so it shouldn't take too long to read them all, if you were so inclined.
Anyway, I thought I'd post, let people know about it since this series is sort of my baby that I never stopped loving, even when I abruptly stopped really writing it 4 years ago. I think you'll probably recognize the basics of my writing style, even in the old stuff, and personally, I am still incredibly proud of several moments that I still get emotional rereading.
A warning though? The original run put a lot of focus on a storyline about a male character who was drugged and raped, and there are some scenes that describe what happened, although not in graphic detail.
