In a bad F***king mood.
Aug. 7th, 2008 07:23 amIn short?
Our landlord hired idiots to do somethign that required digging in the alley behind our trailer.
Sometime before mama and I got home from work, the morons punctured the water line and had to cut the water off. So No shower for me, especially since it didn't come abck on until almost 9, and there's NO WAY my hair would have dried before I needed to go to sleep, so I feel all gross and yucky this morning.
Then, about 40 minutes after we get home, the cable goes out. We can survive without TV, but our TV, Internet, and Phone are bundled together, so no internet, and no phone. If there wasd an emergency, I'd have to run next door and hope our nweighbors either had working phone or a cellphone and would call 911 for us.
My brother is in IRAQ, and if he got hurt, there'd be no way for us to be notified.
I have an elderly aunt who's in the hospital and if something happened to her, there'd be no way to notify us.
I'm pissed, I'm feeling gross, and did i mention I'm pissed? We still don't have phone because instead of calling the cable company when, you know, it was still LIGHT out and they might have come, the earliest they would have been called was about 8:30, at which point it was pretty dark already. So here's hoping they can come out today because I reaally want my phone back especially.

Date: 2008-08-07 06:43 pm (UTC)One time I was in the middle of a shower and the water cut off! (I was renting a townhouse condo at the time.) I had soap all over me, and had to use the cold(!) water that was sitting in the toilet and a washcloth to rinse myself off. *shiver* On my way out to go to work, I could see there were some guys working on the water pipes in the complex. I was pissed they didn't warn us they were going to shut the water off (I hope for their sake's it was an emergency and they didn't have time to warn anyone). Grrrr
To this day, I'm paranoid about the water cutting off when I'm in the middle of a shower...

Date: 2008-08-07 07:11 pm (UTC)I hate our landlord for not frickin' warning us...
Oh! And I found out that the bitch DIDN'T bother calling Bresnan AT ALL even though she very much suggested she would. One of the guys who fouled it up, the one who was apologetic, get it fixed for us, but my mom had already called Bresnan and found out that they had NO idea about it!
