missmara13I jsut got this comment to one of the vids in my AU 'The Return Of Lucky Spencer' series on Youtube:
No offense, but the information is all wrong in the description for this video. Jacob Young played Lucky when he returned from his imprisonment by Helena. Greg Vaughn wasn't even in the cast at that point. These scenes depicted have nothing to do with the character of Lucky returning to Port Charles. You are way off base on this post!!
It CLEARLY says it's an AU SERIES in the TITLE of the vid. It's not MEANT to represent the ACTUAL storyline from the show! It's a STORY based on the characters! I HATE people who make stupid comments like that!
Am I overly annoyed with this? Here I went to look because I thought 'Yay! Comment!' and then I see that genuis... It just strikes me as, despite their little 'No offense' at the begining, that's EXACTLY what they intended because it comes across as "You idiot, that's not what happened!"
Grrr...
They jsut responded to my response to them by saying they didn't know what AU or AR meant and saying I should put 'Alt. Reality' or 'Alt. Universe' in the title to 'avoid confusion'... the title is already long as hell! Why should I make it longer when anyone with sense should be able to tell it's a STORY, not the actualy storyline of the show, even if they DON'T know what AU and AR mean! I think it's stupid to play for the minority of idiots who can't figure out the difference between a vid based on a CANON storyline and one that is totally created by the vidder!
