ever written scenes for a fic, but where the scenes won't come into play for a LONG time?

I just wrote what may very well be the 'Heavily Broken' version of the Season 2 finale, and I totally love the three gutwrenching emotional scenes I have, but as HB readers know, it's barely at the end of Season 1 in the story as it's currently posted. There's a full year of events that have to happen before it gets to the point where these scenes take place, and I can't show anyone without giving away what's going to happen over the next year of the fic...

grrr...


In other, less annoyed news... I've been getting the Earth 2 DVDs from NetFlix, and I've got this crazy idea of a The OC/Earth 2 Crossover... meaning take some of The OC characters and put them in the universe of Earth 2...

Ryan is like blend of John Danziger and Alonzo Solace... he's strong and smart and could fix an engine like Danziger, but I totally see him as wanting to get as many people as possible into the escape pod and he ended up not having a palce to strap himself in and he breaks a leg...
But on the other hand, Kirsten is totally Devon Adair, the woman who's so desperate to save her son she'll go to a whole other planet to do so, and Seth is spoiled and annoying enough to be Uly Adair, Devon's son...

lol... it's a completely insane idea... has anyone else even heard of Earth 2? lol the cast is below, and there's some familair faces among them...
Davon Adair ~ Debrah Farentino (She played Beverly Barlowe on Eureka)
John Danziger ~ Clancy Brown (He played Kelvin Inman on LOST and was in Carnivale)
Alonzo Solace ~ Antonio Sabato Jr. (Jagger Cates on GH, Bane Jessup on Charmed, Dwayne on The Help)
Dr. Julia Heller ~ Jessica Steen (The original Dr. Elizabeth Weir on SG-1, Special Agent Paula Cassidy on NCIS)
Bess Morgan ~ Rebecca Gayheart (Judy Nash on Vanished, Brenda Bates in Urban Legend, Antonia Marchette on BH90210)
True Danziger ~ J. Madison Wright (Not so well known and tragically died young, but True was my favorite so I couldn't not mention J. Madison.)
Uly Adair ~ Joey Zimmerman (Dylan in Disney's Halloweentown movies)

Oh well, whatever... lol... I'm just feeling kinda... weird... today...

I loved Earth 2. I think I saw every episode of it. So sad about J Madison. I remember reading about her death - every aspect of it was tragic but she did live a full life.

Earth 2 is just one of so many amazing Sci-Fi shows that got cancelled LONG before their time... although from what I've heard about how Universal planned to rework the show for season 2, I'm glad the crap they were gonna do NEVER hit the screens...

Yeah, she did... it was still so sad, though... and so sweet that when she'd needed the heart transplant a few years before her death, Clancy Brown had helped raised money to help her family pay the medical bills...

i have a bout four or five books full of just ideas for ideas that randomly came into my head which i probably will never use some have ideas for stories of mine that are chapters infront so your not the only one....

re writing I have started with the end before now. I feel strongly about starting chps with the image in my head first - unfortunately, this gives rise to a lot of non linear narrative. Ah, well.
