missmara13I saw the pilot tonight (After missing it on Tuesday to watch Last Comic Standing...) and in honor of it I made a new icon. Okay, it's kinda lame, but whatever, I made it.
My thoughts:
Ryan - I feel for the guy. His family life sucks, the rich kids aren't gonna accept him (Except for Seth and Marissa), and Kirsten wants him gone. Oh well, now he has Sandy and Seth on his side at least. And maybe Marissa. I almost cried when he walked into his place at the end... poor guy. His mother sucks.
Seth - First off, heh! One of my bros is named Seth! lol Second, he's a dork (On The OC, not my bro! lol). Don't get me wrong, I LIKE Seth, but he's a dork! He's never even spoken to that Summer chick but he thinks they're going to Tahiti together? Sure. But hey, he's got a dream. Can't fault him for that! And sailing to Tahiti is a DAMN good dream in my opinion!
Marissa - Girl, DON'T DRINK SO MUCH! And GET NEW FRIENDS! Oh, and DITCH THE JACKASS BOYFRIEND! lol I feel for her, with the dad in trouble with 'The Man' (Was anyone else trying not to laugh when he dad called the MIB's that? lol). I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with that. And what happens between her and Ryan.
Sandy - I adore the guy! I mean, okay, bringing home 'strays' isn't a good idea in general, but in Ryan's case it IS a good idea! The kid needs a good, saf,e secure, home. And he cna get that with the Cohens! And how can you NOT have gone "Aw!" at the end! And to top it off? Sandy surfers! He's great! lol
In General: Not the greatest show ever, but definitely up high on my list! I'll be watching it for as long as it's on and remains good. Hopefully it'll last at least a full season, but Fox is notorious for not giving Shows a chance, so who knows. Here's hoping it lasts for a LONG time...
Anyway, I think that's all for now.

It's funny that you already doubted Marissa and felt for Ryan.
But the 'not the greatest show' kinda hurt my feelings lol, 'cause I think it was awesome (and the first show I ever followed), but I guess, maybe your opinion changed through the years!
