missmara13Okay, this morning, mom and I wetn garage saling like usual. I got 2 CD's (No DOubt's Tragic Kingdom and The Crystal Method's 'Keep Hope Alive' which includes the 3rdW theme song!) for $1.50 total. Then cam the real amazing OMBG moment!
I saw a bag ont eh ground and thought it was a messenger bag, and it was labeled only $1.50. Well, the woman running the sale says it's a good cause but she's not sure about the COMPUTER! So I open it up and there's a MAC POWERBOOK inside! And the $1.50 price INCLUDES the computer! So we figure if the computer doesn't work, we've got a like messenger bag or eventual laptop case for when we do get one.
Well guess what? The battery is dea,d but we plugged it in and it works! It's like 10 years old or so (Battery says 1992 on it and power cord says 1993), and the screen is black and white, adn the memory is like painfully small (75MB or something... lol most of my folders are bigger than that!), but OMBG! It works! lol
So for a $1.50 we got a WORKING laptop! Even if it is practically ancient, it WORKS! lol
Isn't that amazingly cool?
