Ryan/Jess (These are of course specific to my 'Inside Out/Upside Down' verse) Who cooks: Mostly Ryan, though Jess makes amazing pancakes. Who does the laundry and other chores: Ryan again, just because he doesn't really like mess and chaos. Plus, Jess often doesn't bother to pay attention and clothes end up dyed weird colors because of whites and colors being mixed. How many children do they have: They adopt at least two kids, probably more, but all are, for one reason or an other, either unadoptable or at least difficult to place. Some were traumatized by abuse, some have physical disabilities, all are equally loved by their new parents. Who’s more dominate: Depends on the situation. Ryan usually gets his way because his arguments are more logical, but when it comes to Ryan's health, Jess wins because he will not compromise on what's best for Ryan. Favorite nonsexual activity: Reading, of course. Though Ryan uses heavy duty earplugs, since Jess also likes to blast music while reading. Their favorite place to be together: Either at home in the living room, or at Luke's Diner, sitting close and occasionally leaning in to whisper some random comment. At Luke's they both take a not so secret joy in making Taylor Doose uncomfortable by being all couple-y in front of him. Any traditions: Whenever Jess is working on a new book, he reads it aloud to Ryan to get his opinion. This started when Ryan was battling cancer and was often too tired to do much of anything. Jess would read him parts of the book, and Ryan would tell him if it was good, sucked, or needed a little work. Their “song”: This one's hard, to chose in the sense of 'a song they would both agree to as 'their song', but... I suppose Shiny Toy Guns - 'Season of Love' makes me think of them... What they do for each other on holidays: Jess makes Ryan chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes, and Ryan handles decorating and all the 'annoying' stuff Jess hates. Where did they go for their honeymoon:Technically, they didn't have one because they got married while Ryan was still dealing with the cancer, but Lorelai gave them the best suite at the Independence Inn for a week, complete with room service. Where did they first meet: At a college party. Any pets: They eventually have a cat, a dog, and a rabbit. What do they fight over: Ryan thinks Jess is a grouch more often than necessary, Jess thinks Ryan is too much of a pushover. Do they go on vacations, if so where: They go to California to see the Cohens at least once a year.
