A bit short compared to the first part, but it seeme dlike a good place to stop.
Feel This - Part Two
When Summer saw 'Chino' pop up on her cell phone, she almost closed it and ignored the call, not wanting to hear his voice. Instead, she answered it, her voice soft and hesitant. "Hey."
"I told them," Ryan replied, his voice just as soft and a little bit slurred.
"Told them?" Summer asked.
"Seth and Sandy. I just... I got tired of Seth's babbling and I called him out on fucking Marissa... it basically devolved from there until I told him about you coming to me almost every night since we caught them."
"How'd that go?" Summer asked.
"Well, I'm doped up on the good drugs because my arm's broken and my jaw hurts her like hell."
"Mr. Cohen hit..."
"Seth did," Ryan corrected immediately. "I wasn't expecting it or he wouldn't have gotten close enough, but... he punched me and I landed at a bad angle."
"Oh, Chino," Summer whispered. "Where are you?"
"The hospital, waiting to get my cast done," Ryan said. "Which is delayed because my social worker got called and she's talking to Sandy and the doctor out in the hall." He sighed. "I don't know what's going on, Summer."
"I'll call my dad, get him to go down and yell at them for making you wait with a broken arm," Summer said.
"Sum.." Ryan began, sighing. "They just came back in," he added. "I'll talk to you later."
"Okay," Summer whispered.

The doctor was only just starting to apply the cast, Sandy standing beside the bed with one hand on Ryan's uninjured arm, when there was a short knock on the door and Neil Roberts came in.
"Dr. Roberts," Ryan's doctor said, surprised. "How can I..."
"Why did Ryan have to wait god knows how long to actually get this cast?" Neil asked.
"How did you..." Sandy began.
"I called Summer," Ryan said quietly. "While you were in the hall with Ms. Mitchell."
"My daughter asked me to come check and make sure her boyfriend is actually getting care between arguments in the hall," Neil said.
"She called me her boyfriend?" Ryan asked quietly.
"She said something about figuring Seth wouldn't keep his mouth shut about it."
"He won't," Ryan agreed. "He's probably already run off and told Marissa, who's gonna either drink and blame me or come and yell and scream at me that it's my fault anyway."
"You're not responsible for anyone else's actions," Neil said.
"He's right," Sandy agreed, rubbing Ryan's back slightly as the doctor shifted his arm and the boy flinched.
"But I do expect to have lunch with you and Summer soon, get to know you better," Neil continued. "Although everything I know says I'll approve."
"And what's that?" Ryan asked, curious.
"You saved Marissa Cooper from an overdose in Tijuana, and from a boy with a gun a few months later. You took responsibility for something that might not have even been your responsibility, because a friend needed you to. You have a 4.0 GPA..."
"4.0?" Sandy asked, surprised.
"Summer told me that one," Neil admitted. "She's quite proud of him for it."
"Dr. Kim told me near the end of last year," Ryan said, his voice soft. "The day before the funeral," he added.
It was Sandy's turn to flinch as he realized how much their lives had started to unravel that day. And he hadn't even noticed the effect of most of it on Ryan. "Kid..."
"Doesn't matter," Ryan said.
"All done, Ryan's doctor said. "We just need to wait for it to dry."
"Then can I go home?" Ryan asked.
The doctor looked over at Sandy, who looked away. "We'll see," the doctor said.
"Sandy?" Ryan asked, looking over at him.
"Ms. Mitchell is talking to her bosses," Sandy admitted.
"I may not go home?" Ryan asked.
"I'm sure she'll..."
"Don't fucking lie to me," Ryan said, looking away.
"Ryan..."
"We'd like to keep you overnight to be safe, anyway," the doctor said quickly.
"We'll be back to check on you in a little bit," Neil said, grabbing the other doctor's arm and pulling the man from the room. Once the door was closed, he turned to the man. "Tell me what was said to Ryan's social worker. Everything," he said.
