Crossover Thoughts...

missmara13Or more accurately, some of the wacky ways my mind wants to crossover fandoms... mostly Criminal minds and Numb3rs related...
Ryan Atwood (The OC) and JJ Jureau (Criminal Minds) are cousins, their mom's are sisters. But Dawn married Frank against the wishes of their parents, and contact has been kind of limited over the years. But Ryan and JJ have certainly met eachother and they are eachother's favorite cousins, keeping in touch via phone and emails and such. And of course JJ is proud of Ryan for getting into college, and Ryan came as soon as he could after JJ had her baby... and JJ loaned Ryan some money when he left the Cohens after Marissa died... and whenever JJ finds herself with some free time following a case in California, she has lunch with Ryan...
I also have this obsession with the idea of Ryan interacting with either the Criminal Minds team or the Numb3rs Team. Especially Hotch (Criminal Minds) and Don (Numb3rs). Like in the case of CM, Ryan is a victim, there turns out to be no family to take him and he's seriously fucked up in the ehad, so Hotch winds up becoming his guardian... or int he case of Numb3rs, Ryan is a witness against like AJ or Frank for something, and Dawn couldn't care less if they kill him to keep him from testifying, so the FBI is providing protection and Don widns up bonding with Ryan and becoming his guardian when it's all over, and Ryan totally gets along with the rest of the Eppes family (I can see him enjoying sports for the sake of sports with Don and Alan, but talking math and physics with Charlie, and of course Larry and Amita, and completely following their minds)...
With the Numb3rs version, I have this idea that neither Ryan or Don are particularly happy about Don having to babysit Ryan. Don thinks he could be of more use elsewhere, Ryan would rather just grab his stuff and get the hell out of the state. But then someone shoots up the hotel room their camped out in and Don gets a little protective of Ryan, and Ryan is little open to the fact that AJ/Frank could be dangerous to other people and he really needs to testify and send the guy to jail...
Yeah... insanity...
