Ryan took a while to fully feel secure in his relationship with Brooke... for a long time he couldn't help wondering if she was gonna end up being a rehash of Marissa, who wanted him when it was convenient and didn't when it wasn't... his worries were completely unfounded, obviously, but... he was messed up emotionally...
