Christian can be an arrogant SOB, and he's extremely foulmouthed, a womanizer, but... he loves Wilber (who is also pretty damn foulmouthed according to his mother, Gina, who tried to take him from Christian but returned him because she coiuldn't handle him) and would clearly do anything for him, he loves his business partner, Sean, like a brother, and Sean's kids fall under the 'do anything for them' category... And he's shown with various patients that he's a big softie...
There was one patient, 'Momma Boone', who was a VERY obese woman who had sat on her couch for so long (years) that her skin was basically fused to the fabric and Christian and Sean were trying to operate to seperate her from the couch. Christian actually sat there holding her hand during her surgery. so she wouldn't feel alone.
I may make a Youtube fuled 'primer' for Nip/Tuck later today... with scenes/vids that I feel illustrate who the characters are, including the Momma Boone clip of him holding her hand...
