Another new fandom...

I watched most of 'Arrow' earlier (missed the first ten minutes so I found it online and am watching that first bit now), and omfg I love it... and I think I will be doing the multifandom (but mostly The OC) fusion using the premise of it... Actually, I know I will because I already have two complete scenes written...

I will probably break from the show in a lot of ways, just keeping the basic premise, but omfg I love this idea already and the two scenes I have written are both Ryan and Kaitlin scenes and the scenes were so easy to write, it just flowed to write them as brother and sister, separated for years but still having this strong connection... Like the narration makes it clear that Ryan is kind of numb until the moment Kaitlin runs into his arms and then he finally feels something because it's his baby sister... hugging Kaitlin is his "I'm really home" moment.

I'm thinking Chuck Bass as Ryan's best friend, and maybe Kirsten is married to Bart Bass, who was on Jimmy's (Ryan and Kaitlin's late father) list of corrupt businessmen... and Brooke Davis was Ryan's girlfriend before the yacht sank, but after five years of thinking Ryan was dead, she's moved on and is dating/engaged to someone else... but the spark is still there between them... And Sandy Cohen is a lawyer who once upon a time was investigating Jimmy, but discovered Jimmy was definitely the lesser of evils when it came to corruption in the city and he becomes an ally to the Arrow, not realizing that the hooded hero is in fact Ryan...

lol... I really, REALLY like this idea... lol
