Well, that was kinda scary....

Last night, before I went to bed, I was feeling a little... off.Not really bad just not good.

I don't really know when it got really bad, but sometime aftaround 1 or so, after tossing and turning for what seemed like forever, feel both ice cold and burning hot, as well as really weak and woozy, I got up enough to grab socks and a fleece hoodie... they helped a little, but not much. So after a while longer, I got up and checked my temperature. 101.6 F. Not good (especially since my normal temp is betweeen 96 and 97 F).

I went back to bed, miserable, tossing and turning, and at around 3 I checked again, 101. I checked one mroe time at about 4 and... still 101. I was seriously feeling sick, had been laying curled in a fetal position for hours whimpering, and by that point I was about to go wake my mom up just because I felt so horrible. But, while I was still in the bathroom at 4, my mom got up and saw the light on and asked if I was okay, which of course the answerwas "No, 101."

She had me put a cool compress on my head, and by 6, my temperature was down to 100.4, but I still called in sick to work...

My temp is now down to 98.6 (exactly98.6, which is kinda ironic... lol) so it's definitely much better, but... that seriously scared me over night. I was about ready to run a cool bath and dunk myself in to get my fever down... and my mom had me turn on the cellphone and keep it right next to me all day so I could call her if my temp went up.

I still feel kinda sick, but... nowhere near as bad as I did overnight. It was just seriously scary...
