A good find...
Aug. 3rd, 2008 07:47 pmI love garage sale season...
Went to one yesterday, and I look at this box of books... hardcovers (and 1 paperback) of VC Andrews novels... and while I'm looking, one of the people running the sale said "How's 5 bucks for the whole box sound?" I totally took her up on it and DAMN it was a good deal!
4 complete sets (Dollanger, Landry, Wildflowers, and Orphans) 1 almost complete set (Casteel, missing just 1 book) and a couple other random ones...
I LOVE VC Andrews, have a TON of them in paperback (In fact I'm 99% sure I have the Casteel book in paperback... lol) so suddenly getting a totaly of 25 books for $5 was a totally steal! lol
So yes, wee bit happy and excited about that... lol
Flowers In The Attic (The first in the Dollanger series) is still an all time favorite for it's shear twistedness... the 4 innocent children being locked in a single room by their evil grandmother and slowly turning more and more evil mother? So twisted and crazy and I LOVE it! I adore most of the series', and I look forward to rereading with books that are sturdier than the paperbacks... lol
