Okay, so, I have this book...

missmara13It's called 'Plots Unlimited' by Tom Sawyer (Not a joke, that's actually the name!) and Arthur David Weingarten... Basically, it has all these random generic plots, using random generic characters. So I'm flipping through and decided to offer up a couple that could be interesting.
The names are the generic ones from the book, so of course they can be changed to whatever fandom you're writing in, and so can genders. The details can be changed to fit the fandom, too...
1. Jack tries to protect Gary from arrest.
2. Jack, who loves Carol, learns that Carol is married to Eric.
3. Jack, a tough lumberman in a rough lumber camp, finds himself in charge of an abandoned baby, Lee.
4. Jack seeks revenge on Gary for a harassment that resulted in the death of Jack's parents and sister.
5. Jack's rival, Gary, maneuvers Jack into becoming a criminal suspect.
6. Federal Witnes Jack, protected by turncoat Agent Gary, is the target of hit-man Burt.
7. Jack, refusing to acknowledge to severity of a storm, insists on driving home.
8. Pete is killed in an accident while with his friend, Jack.
9. Jack dreams he sees his enemy, Gary, in his room.
10. Carol realizes the consequences of her selfishness when one of her children, Lee, dies.
11. Carol loves Gary and runs off with him, leaving her child, Lee, with her husband, Jack.
12. Carol deludes herself about her son, Doug.
13. Jack learns a closely gaurded secret.
14. Jack leaves home, squanders his money and, dead broke, he regrets his decision.
15. Jack, suddenly finding himself a prisoner, attempts to remain calm and composed.
16. Jack recovers from a critical illness, but is left with total amnesia.
17. Jack is a hostage in solitary confinement.
18. Jack's neighbors think he is guilty of a crime for which he was tried and aquitted.
19. Jack was an abandoned child who knows nothing of his parentage.
20. After a long, mysterious abscence, Jack returns to his hometown.
21. Jack is removed, unconscious, from an accident.
22. Jack, deprived of food, faces a slow death by starvation.
23. Jack conceals his identity, avoids people, and leads a furtive life.
24. Jack wants total seclusion - to be isolated from all methods of communication.
25. Now rich and respected, Jack is haunted by a crime he committed in his youth.
I think that shall do for now... 25 generic plots to inspire and pic from... feel free to combine more than one if you want... and if people like these, I'm sure I can find lots more good ones in the book... lol
