ack... my bad... originally the story went differently, with Ryan estranged from the Cohens and hoping they didn't show up at Kaitlin's graduation... then I re-read Brandywine's 'Alphabet' series and realized that using that version would be too close to her story and changed it... lol... I'll go fix it now...
