New layout and a header image!

Thanks to my ISP being screwy today, it took me all damn day to get the header image added, but I FINALLY did it! I don't know how long this specific image and color scheme will last, the colors are kinda bright, but... now I know how to do it! lol

I'm gonna update Heavily Broken in a bit, still gotta edit the chapter... but I'm happy to announce that I have finalized the soundtrack for HB, and once I've posted through a certain amount of the story (the song choices and why I chose them contain spoilers for as yet unposted stuff) I'll post the soundtrack... 12 songs, covering through the end of my AU Season One.

Anyway, just wanted to direct people's attention to my header image... lol... I like the words I put on it, might re-use them, I'm jsut not sure about the image and coloring... eh

I love your new header too as well as the fact that you keep clinging to Ryan/Summer while in the past months this hot couple has been replaced with R/T.

It's just ... the text is a little bit difficult to read on top of the image. Maybe you want to work with a font-shadow or something like that?

I can'[t do a font shadow thing because I don't use any fancy graphcis editors... no photoshop or anything... I just use a simple editor (IrfanView) to adjust colors, brightness, and contrast, and then Paintbrush to add the text, then back to IrfanView to save it... So I'm veyr limited in what I can do... I have a second basic image editor with a few other capabilities, but overall... that is all I've got so I can't do anything fancy...

But the text being a little hard to read it part of why I'm not sure how long this speicific image will last... it was my first try, so... lol...

Well there's always the free Paint.Net which is despite its name a rather sophisticated graphics editor instead of a cheap Microsoft Paint copy which might just be what you need if you don't have the necessity or money for commercial applications like Photoshop or Paintshop Pro. I furthermore think that your options are very limited and when you start working on graphics and pictures, the combination of an image viewer and Paint doesn't cut it anymore. Just my .02 Cents on the technical part.

I like the image you've chosen a lot though because gosh, Ryan all banged up from his cage fighting is seriously hot! lol. If you choose to keep it for a while longer or re-use it for your next try, there's one little bee who wouldn't mind :D

I may check that out later, but at this point my computer is messed up (stupid thing came screwed up i think, we've NEVER been able to run maitenance programs like defrag on it, even though we could on our old computer) so in like 2 weeks we're taking it to get fixed... so downloading anything now would be fruitless since the dang thing might end up needing to get wiped clean of all files to fix it... okay, I'm done with the whining... lol...

I love that image too... I may do something else with it quickly soon... I made three quick and easy banners tonight (one is Kirsten, Caleb, and Ryan and says 'The Newport Group... The Way It Should Be...', the other two are Ryan and Kaitlin with sentiments about them being brother and sister)...
