Even if it's spoiler-y for what's to come (Although for majorly spoiler-y ones, I'll give you a chance to back out, and then post a link to a post-dated entry with the answer, so no one will see the answer unless they wanna know)...

So! You can ask what inspired the story, or what was hardest to write in the story, or whether there will be a happy ending, literally anything and I will answer.

What happened when the Cohens discovered Chuck with his hands down Ryan's pants in Beautiful World?

I sorta did an evil cackle type laugh when I read that... lol...

They were, needless to say, NOT happy in the slightest, and there was some shocked yelling... Assumptions were made that Chuck was taking advantage of Ryan (which was met with an incredulous 'wtf are you smoking' looking from Ryan, because he could totally kick Chuck's ass if he wanted to), and there was some telling Chuck to stay away from Ryan, which of course only encouraged Chuck to make more of an effort to win Ryan over...

The Cohens also upped their efforts to convince Ryan to get back together with Marissa (who he had broken up with after she shot Trey because she got bitchy about him being upset about Trey being comatose), because at least she only shot his brother... which in Cohen-Logic was less bad than Chuck... and Ryan rebelled against that by responding to Chuck's advances...

Which led to the Cohens actually forbidding Ryan to see Chuck, which of course did not go over well because while Chuck may not have been the best listener, he DID let Ryan get pissed off and vent about Marissa, Trey, the Cohens, etc... so really Ryan and Chuck developing something beyond a hot hook up is all due to the Cohens being all 'No way in hell! Stay away from him!' about it... lol

lol...

#1 - I don't actually know for sure, but... my thought is it that it takes place after the accident at the end of Season 3 of The OC. Ryan was actually hurt pretty bad in the accident, and Lex flew in because his friend was hurt and he wanted, needed, to be there.

#2 - I never actually wrote that story. I've referenced the event several times, but I haven't actually written it.
