It's one of my head canons for Ryan that he will always be protector of the vulnerable, mostly because for most of his life there was no one to protect him when he was vulnerable. And Ryan and Silver are both characters that, as I see them, are very strong people, but also very vulnerable. They've both been hurt before by people (including their own mothers) just not caring.

lol... Naomi is... complicated. I don't wanna give away potential future stories, but she did/does care about Ryan, maybe even love him, and she didn't cheat to hurt him. Her reasons don't make it okay that she cheated, but she didn't do it just to hurt Ryan.
