Hm, I saw two things in this chapter. First, it's lovely how very understanding Brooke is that she can almost read Ryan's mind or foresee his actions when he first called her. Second, this chapter didn't show much of her personality because aside from a comment or two (take wicked stepmother, lol) she was more or less reacting to a very strange situation for her. I'm really looking forward to future chapters where she can develop her own personality (which is something important I believe for people who don't watch OTH).

I also liked how Daniel was completely overwhelmed by Ryan's family - while not in details it was in its basics a recreation of Ryan's first scene in the Cohen home.

Lily seems to be very outspoken and adventurous, a lovely child which reminds me a little bit of Seth ;)
