M's 'perfection' really is overrated! I saw an icon somewhere with the text, referring to some random character I didn't even recognize, and thought that it really described Marissa so perfectly... hehe...

It's part of my new 'Ryan Troy' universe, the NipTuck/The OC crossover where Ryan is the biological son of Christian Troy. Takes palce before the other snippets, though, when Christian was attempting to get to know Ryan a little bit, spend some time with him.

It's nothing much, just a little moment between Ryan and Christian as they were trying to get to know eachother. And a little M bashing.

I was looking at some older Nip/Tuck clips on Youtube, and was reminded of the fact that Christian has admitted to having been sexually abused a a child by his foster father. I had totally forgotten about that, but it further adds to why, in my story, Christian would suddenly decide that he wants to protect Ryan... Sandy's not an abuser, of course, no matter how pissed Christian is at Sandy for letting Ryan get hurt, he doesn't think for even a minute that Sandy intended it to happen... he does however see it as a foster parent, someone who should have been protecting Ryan, letting Ryan down, and that does hit just a little too close to home and sets off his protective streak...

I'm thinking that the story takes place in Early/mid Season 5 of Nip/Tuck, shortly after Christian and Sean have moved their practice to LA. So basically all events of Season 5 are up for grabs to be adjusted to fit Ryan into the equation... I'd love to play with Ryan's reaction to Christian being injured in the car crash caused by the Paparazzi wanting pictures of Annie...

And god... I have this wild idea that if I made the fic long enough... do something with having The Carver turn up because, hey, still out there! Maybe they're pissed that Christian and Sean are now becoming famous in LA for their work... and when the threats start coming in, Christian gets worried for both Ryan and Wilber that they might be targetted by The Carver to hurt him, but he doesn't want them to have any idea that something is wrong, and of coruse Ryan is pissed when he finds out Christian has been hiding this from him, because while, yeah, Wilber is too young to know about this, Ryan ISN'T too young and he thinks he had a right to know...

And of course it would be interesting to play with the development for Christian in the "Season 5 Part II" Premiere (I'm not gonna spoil it just in case anyone, like me, hasn't seen it... I'm watching it right now on the website because I kept missing it... lol) with Ryan around and how he reacts to it...

Anyway, some random thoughts, nothing all that spoiler-y for the fic since nothing is definite for the fic... lol... for those who know the show, anything in particular from Season 5 (either the first half of the season of the two most recent eps) that you'd love to see me twist around a bit for this fic?

I'm sabotaging myself for work tomorrow, but I'm staying up to watch the last half of the 2nd ep of the season of Nip/Tuck (I still need to watch the 1st ep of the season...) and... I sorta have this insane desire to write a crossover between Nip/Tuck and The OC... Something completely crack!tastic...

Like... maybe Dawn was once, many years ago, a really hot call stripped that Christian Troy slept with and Ryan is Christian's son, not Frank's! And Christian finds out because he runs into Dawn the junkie whore and she tells him that he owes her years of child support... and he finds out Ryan is living with the Cohens... and it takes palce near the end of the whole Oliver mess, when the Cohens were all kinda treating Ryan like he was just a crazy jealous psycho and no one believed Oliver was evil, but Christian totally recognizes Oliver's psychoticness and seriously worries about Ryan's safety...

And I just get crazier from there...

The other possibility...

Remember when I first posted the link to my image prompts that I was gonna write fics for? Remember how I posted a lsit of a few of the ideas and one of them was #22 - "They splashed gasoline on him, then lit a match."? Well... what if Ryan has serious burn scars from that, and McNamara/Troy are his doctors because they want to do some high profile charity work to get a good rep in LA? And when Christian finds out that this poor burned kid is gonna go back to a crappy foster home with foster parents who keep him for the government money they get (extra because of his burn related health issues) and he has one of thsoe pesky attacks of compassion and starts thinking that he could do a lot to help Ryan...

And again, crazier from there...

I need to go to sleep, before I get crazier... lol...
