I need a 'Freezing My Ass Off' icon.
It's 14 degrees farenheit with a windchill of 2 degrees farenheit. And it's snowing. And I'm gonna have to walk the equivalent of 3 or four blocks in it ALONE at 4:30, by which time it'll be damn dark between the sun going down and the thick cloud cover, just to get to my mom's office, and then another 3 or so blocks in it to get to the car, then a 2 mile drive in it. grrr... not fun...
But I shall survive! lol... I seriously can not wait until the end of thursday, when my 3 weeks off begin! lol

It's snowing here too by the way as it has been on and off for the past two weeks. Coupled with rain little of that white powder has remained though here in the valley - it's much different on the surrounding mountains and I'm very much looking forward to my first day of skiing before the year is over.

Date: 2007-12-11 07:51 pm (UTC)I didn't realise that 14°F was so low in Celcius degrees, because, where I live (south of France on the littoral), its 6°C and I'm freezing... so for you it'd be 42° lol.
Anyway, since I was little, I always got jealous of people who got the chance to have snow in winter (and didn't have to travel to get it). So consider yourself lucky, maybe you'll get warmer thinking like this *hee*.
I hope you'll get a good '3 weeks vacation' :)

Date: 2007-12-11 09:21 pm (UTC)I love snow, and I'm glad we're FINALLY getting some (We usually get our first snow in early to mid october, this year we didn't until late November, and the past few days is the first time it's snowed more than just half an inch overnight... lol)
And I actually get 4 weeks off! The food court doesn't open back up on January 14th, and unless I get called in because my manager is desperate for help with like prep and cleaning and stuff, I have all that time off! lol
